Yep we are feeling much better now, after having a nightmare stay at Dunwich, we have just come back from a lovely week at Bungay!! Site lovely, owners lovely, children and neighbours not too noisey (although there was a few balls, but not near us this time) and while we were there have done a little research and found couple of beautiful cl to stay at next year.

But crikey there is alot of people on here going through the same thing, thought it was just us going through it! Deffo going to stick to cl in the future, we are back to being happy campers!

Was that the Outney Meadows site? I usually camp just north of Yarmouth but I have friends in Bungay so have often considered camping near them as an alternative and I think Outney Meadows is the nearest site.

Hey Tigermouse,

Yes it was Outney Meadows, have a quick look at the reviews on here they are spot on. Colin and Mary are lovely and let you pitch pretty much where you like but giving your neighbours plenty of room and theres a fab river you can hire canoes from them. There is a bit of road noise though and humming from the factory over the road.

Most of all everyone is quiet inbetwween 10.30pm and 8am. We would visit again. Hope this helps.
