I am going to the Three Counties Showground on Sunday for the VW show ,I am just looking for something very cheap/free as I'm not going to get up there until around 7/8pm tomorrow night, will get something to eat then just crash for the night, therefore not needing any facilities.
I have been trawling the internet now for the last hour but to no avail. All the council long stay car parks are now not overnight due to people abusing this facility and everything else I have found wants to charge £15+ with loads of lovely facilities that I just don't need.
Just wondered if anyone knew of a relatively quiet layby or something or even if these things exist?
Thank you very much for your help in advance.

we went to the malvern showground for the western m/h show last year , the night before the showground opened so we could get in early , if you drive past the showground on your right , go up to the lights and turn right , up the hill turn right there is plenty of off road parking in laybys , on the left , or if they're all full , keep going , and theres more on the right , head straight on and keep going rightish and you'l see a pub on the left amongst fields , loads of parking and a beer to boot , the organisers ask you not to wildcamp , i think to keep the locals happy , but theres no no camping signs ,,
Often a local pub with a large carpark will allow you to park up for the night providing you paronise the pub by buying a few drinks and a meal , and you leave nothing but your foot prints behind when you move off in the morning.

In the end we found a quiet layby as you come off of the M50 on to the A38, just after the turning for Ripple, it was a good sized layby, and a bank between the layby and road full of trees, so quiet too.

Hope you had a good time, we've been going to VanFest for the last 13 years but couldn't get there this year......I was gutted :-(
It was the first time we had been and will definitely be going again but making sure we book early so we can camp on site.

I suppose also that you could wild camp on Castlemorton Common, I have seen motorhomes there during the day.
...It's illegal...........
