Hi there, does anyone know of any Scottish sites that are open at New Year (11/12) and accepting tourers? A site that was offering a New Year Ceildh or something would be even better!

Don't know about entertainment but a few of the CC sites are open for New Year ... Edinburgh, Silverbank, Blair Drummond and The Woods certainly are and I think Craigie Gardens is too.

No Ceildh on site but new year cheer a plenty in the village with dancing and fireworks in the square (5 min walk) is Grantown CC site. Aviemore is also a good bet for entertainment.
I think the Woods is doing something for New Year for Charity. We have just come back from the site and really liked it. We might try and spend a few days there ourselves between Christmas and Hogmanay
