Hi

Hope you can shed some light looking for a campsite in Devon end of June 2012 for a week.
Ideally looking for one that's not full of caravans or got a club house ! So nice views ? sea ? elec hookup ? Activities in the surrounding area for 3yr & 4yr old, not essential though.

Any weather predictions or if you can book good weather for that week let me know!

Many thanks in advance

hi samzac
have a look at woodlands grove in devon.we stayed for a week with a 2&4yr old and they loved it.
no club house, good toilet facilities and family rooms with bath(great for my 2yr old who doesn't like showers)
they don't have a play park on site but you get free entry to the adventure park connected to the site which is great for young kids.

Leadstone Camping at Dawlish, Devon, is uncomercialised, and has loads of nearby off site entertainment for young children. Check it out on UKCampsite Listings.

We used Bolberry Farm near Hope Cove when our kids were that age. See the reviews on this site. Small kiddie playground, clean showers/washing-up area and no club-house. Very family friendly and fantastic views out to sea.

About a mile down to Hope Cove - a sheltered enclosed beach with a pub, small post office and toilets, or if the wind is blowing in the other direction you can go to Salcombe about 3 miles the other way.

Damage Barton, near Woolacombe is a great site, does have caravans though, other than that, probably ticks your boxes, excellent shower block too. Camping & caravanning club pitches are further down the hill than Caravan club ones, so the view will have a better mix of tents & vans.

Little Meadow near Ilfracombe has lovely sea views and has good reviews:

http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=1332

Weather: unpredictable!!! - I always have holiday in June as usually pretty good but this year it poured down the whole week down here.  But June is a better time to visit to avoid the crowds.
