Could try The Queens Head pub at Water Oakley near Windsor. It is a basic site.
Depending on when in July 2012 you are going, it may be worth booking early as there are Olympic events being staged at Dorney Rowing Lake which is nearby.

We have been to Legoland twice and used Swiss Farm in Henley on Thames. It was about 20min drive away. Lovely site which I would go back too.

when we went to thorpe park we stayed at basingstoke canal visitor centre , a really good site on the canalside , very reasonably priced with some good facilities and in a very nice area , and its 16 miles from legoland ,,
