Are you going as spectator or are you marshalling?  If latter, there are special arrangements - or there were this year - registered marshals get informed but if you're not, don't try and test the system. Not that you would.

My advice - unless there is a pressing reason - do without EHU and grab the best pitch you can now (I am assuming you've done checking on this site as well and, if member of either C&CC and/or CC you've checked out the CS and CL sites).

If you're a member of any F1 fab club/group, suggest you post there too.

Not a lot of help, but hope it gives you some suggestions.

Don't know about Silverstone but Brands Hatch has camping on site, maybe worth checking.

You really want to be onsite, you don't want to be trying to access Silverstone on GP Sunday from offsite - and if you do, you'll need to buy a parking pass.

The "new" Silverstone campsite is apparently good, I think it's called Woodlands and I'm fairly sure it has EHU - have you followed the links off the circuit website?

Alternatively Whittlebury Hall is next door and is within walking distance, they have EHU but it's a pretty pricey site.

For info the GP Marshals campsite doesn't have EHU.

We stayed at Godwins Ice Cream Farm, nr. Bicester which isn't too far from Silverstone. We drove past Silverstone on the way to Milton Keynes. Details on campsite search and I did a review.
