thinking of visting caravan show at manchester,would like to make weekend of it anyone know where nearest camp site is to venue please we have a touring van.i know its a bit late but worth a try . thanks Lynne 41

Hi there,

Yes Burrs is a great site and even has a pub next to the site. Tram station is approx 25 mins walk from Burrs or bus stop is 5-10 mins walk.

I've never been there, but if I were going to Manchester, I would go to Burrs. Almost went up on Boxing Day for a few days, but dog is still 'being trained'.

Theres a CL at Heywood just of M62 and not far into Manchester we stayed there last year when the wife went to see Take That at the City Of Manchester, and I think it was only £12 per night, with ehu and showers.
