Hi there. I know its a bit early but does anyone have any suggestions for a venue for New years eve. I would like a site that provides entertainment ,would take caravans and dogs and has electric. We live in the Midlands so around that area please. Thanks Nigel

hi nigel its not to early to be thinkin about new year.we have already booked (last dec) as the sites get booked up very early.cant help you with sites ,weve just booked clumber park but we not that bothered about entertainment .

We went to Pilgrims Way in Boston this New Year and they put on a lovely night with party food and a disco plus party games. Lovely little site and great couple who run it.

We're looking for somewhere too. Unfortunately, the site I chose for last New Year was like a ghost town ! It was close to a major city, had fantastic reviews, and yes it was very neat and clean, but with only 4 occupied vans (including ours), together with about 30 'seasonal and empty !!'

We didn't want big entertainment, but it would have been nice to have some people around to chat to - it was the quietest site we have ever seen !!

I used the search facility on here last year and refined it to sites with pubs within one mile, then just rang round to find out what was going on. I didn't start looking until about June and they all still had vacancies.

We liked the one we chose, which had no entertainment, so much that we booked for this year before we left.
