Me and a mate are looking to go wild camping in Scotland.

What I need to know is, can this be done legally and if so are there any reccomended area's.

We have  a plan to motorcycle up to the West coast of Scotland then cut across and up to John O'Groats and finally down towards Kinross.

A total of 3 nights stay over and not going anywhere a  motorway.

Any advice is welcome, Thanks
