Hi Everyone

I joined this site late last year so only managed one camping trip so far. Hoping to have lots more this year, I was looking on the campsites and saw one we sounds nice. But it says club member site only. I am not sure what this means I've searched on this site but cant seem to find any information (probably me not searching right).

Please could someone please explain what this means.

Hi, they are a CS which is a Certificated Site and affiliated to the Camping and Caravanning Club, which you will need to be a member of to stay at the site. You can probably join upon arrival, as most CS locations offer this.

If it was a CL or Certified Location, then those sites are affiliated to The Caravan Club.

Thanks for explaining the abbreviations. Am fairly new to camping 2 short trips last year - but a keen reader of posts on the site & picked up loads of information & tips. Had worked out SIG & SIM but couldn't figure these out
