Well if a site was looking to charge me £20 low and £40 high season,for a campervan,I would draw the conclusion that they don't really want "tourers"(..and I would assume they've dedicated the bulk of their site to statics and/or chalets..?).

As others have said,it's worth joining one of the main "clubs",as there's plenty of relatively low cost CLs(CC)and CSs(C&CC)sites about..

I've seen a few posts in this thread from people crowing about the fantastic low cost sites they know - with EHU no less - and yet they don't share the site name. I can understand you don't want us to descend upon your haven and spoil the ambiance, but really, is it necessary to torture us so?

what annoys me a little is that sites charge me the same (single person no car) as a couple with a car - doesn't seem fair. I am looking at Dorset Coast for June and little under £20 per night - which adding on taxi cost isn't a cheap weekend away
