As a family we satrted camping last year going to fantastic places and are now addicted and cant wait to get going again this year.
Our enthusiasm has rubbed of on our freinds who are out buying tents to join us in 2012, one of our freinds have bought a caravan ( his wife doesnt do tents ) is there anywhere anyone could recommend where we can all pitch together next to the caravan and still enjoy the time together as a group
We live in Haworth and for there 1st trip with the caravan only really want to travel for an hour

Can't recommend any buy name but just have a word when booking and ask for 3 pitches together. Some sites don't let you book individual pitches but if you all arrived togehter then that should be ok.
Should imagine that being so close to the Yorkshire moors you would find something to suit.
We go away quite often with our tent and our friends in their van and haven't had any problems getting pitched together. Always been in Scotland though.
Probably a little bit far but one for the future - we are going to Callow Top in our caravan and my brother and his family will be joining us in their tent. So we are pitched right opposite each other as the caravans are around the perimeter of the field and the tents are in the centre of the field with the road between them. I can't remember the field number but its the last field on the right before you arrive at the big tent field as the end of the site.

I think it depends on the site, worth phoning them first to see if the hardstandings are adjacent to the camping pitches. Silly woman she should have just got a tent like the rest of you....
Most C at CC CS sites only take 5 units so you can all be together, try searching on their website. Ingleton, Clapham, Austwick, Skipton, Ilkley, Otley, Grassington, Bolton Abbey are all lovely areas or you could try Hope, Castleton area all within about an hour from you or if you want a City break try Cherry tree cottage on the outskirts of York. Jx
For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
