any suggestions for campsite in peak district that has ehu?? Ideally one where we can go off for walks from rather than drive. Near a pub if possible!!!

Ps for anyone who hasn't tried batcombe vale i cant recommend it enough!

Grouse and Claret at Rowsley (on the A6 between Matlock and Matlock)has its own caravan site behind the pub which is really a large restaurant bar .Small shopping village literally over the wall and it is adjacent to Chatsworth

Is it for a caravan? Whitehouse farm c.l.near Hartington is ok plenty of walks from site, has ehu but no other facilities.

And Buxton cc site...used to be Grin Low, lots of walks from there.

Blackwall Plantation CC site, stunning views and lovely walks around the reservoir and surounding countryside, near to the towns of Ashbourne and Matlock with all their visitor attractions, as well as being well served by the free playpark at the visitor centre a 10 min walk from the sites gates.
