Depends what you want fron the site.  Just use UKCS's excellent mapsearch facility and consult the reviews.

Generally, Edinburgh sites and public transport for visiting city centre are very good indeed.

What sort of outfit do you have? We have stayed at Mortonhall and the Caravan Club site on visits to Edinburgh. There are bound to be reviews on here.

 I would also reccomend Linwater which is near to Edinburgh and there is a park + ride quite close which i think is easier to use the buses than drive in the city.

what about drumhor on the east side of edinburgh? we have stayed there & it is great.

or stay at melrose & visit the scottish borders at the same time
