Planning on spending a week next month touring the length of the Welsh coast. I'm looking for suitable sites that are within walking distance to a local town or village. Preferably along the coastal path. Any ideas?

Caerfai bay caravan and tent park is right on the coastal path at St Davids, all the pitches have fantastic coastal views and facilities are spotless and extensive (no clubhouse)  lots of places to eat in St Davids,  I can highly recommend it.  J x

We did this last year started south and worked our way up, we stopped at so many places, proper sites, mountains, beaches. We found it easier to look at somewhere we fancied on the map and head that direction but if we found somewhere that looked nice on route we stopped there and made it up as we went along, We used our SUV with a side awning, x2 adults x2 kids and had a mix of sites and wild camping, brilliant time. I'll try to think of some good places.

This Site on Anglesey, is right on the coastal path, and an easy walk into Moelfre with its Village shop, chippy and pub.
