Good evening,

Can you recommend a campsite that is within walking distance to a village with a 5 or 6 pubs? Thinking of Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, or Cheshire areas.

Somewhere like The Croft at Hawkshead.

First ones off the top of my head.  All great sites.  All easy walks to town/village with all the pubs you'd need!

Forgot to add, site must accept tents.

The C & CC Eskdale site in the village of Boot in the western lake district is lovely, with three pubs just a few minutes walk away.

Riverside in the village of Cononley near Skipton is another nice one with a couple of pubs about five minutes walk from the site.

great site on edge of Hawkeshead Village with approx 4 or 5 pubs

Park Foot at Pooley Bridge - if you don't need hook up, stay on the Aikbeck field, then you have a quiet lakeside walk into the village, three lovely pubs and a tea room
