Yeah it annoys me too when they don't respond to an email, or any company for that matter, if they haven't got the time to reply then they shouldn't have an email address printed on their website or directory listings.
On a different topic I also never book a site if there's no website or if they only put one or two photos on, I know I may be missing out on some "gems" but I like to have a rough idea of what it looks like.
