We're due to visit the CC site on 1st June, as we always use it as a stop-over on our way down to Dorset. It just means we can get a nice early start and get to the site at a reasonable time.

Has anyone been in the Tewkwsbury area recently? We'll be ringing the site next week, but an early heads up, would be useful in case we have to make alternative arrangements.

If you want a site near Tewkesbury as a one night stop over I can recommend a site off junction 9 of the M5 at Ashon Under Hill. It's a quiet site and the friendly site owners only charge £8 per night including electric hook up. I have booked to stay there for one night in mid June as we are travelling down to Axminster in Devon.
