After reading many comments on here from people in a similar position to myself doing last minute searches for somewhere to stay this wekend I've just managed to book a tent pitch, non electric for Sat until Tues.
Thanks to a very helpful lady at Lower Lacon Caravan Park in Wem, Shropshire we can now look forward to a great weekend away.
Hopefully everyone else searching has similar success

Well done missbou. We have been trying to find something around Derbsyhire but can't find anything. Most campsites seem to almost laugh when we phone up and ask!
You will enjoy Lower Lacon, it's a great, relaxing site with really friendly staff. Wem is just 15mins walk away and has a couple of restaurants, take aways and several pubs.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
