Longmeadow Campsite near Brockenhurst is right in the middle of the forest and has EHU points around the edge of the large open camping field.

Although I'm sure there are closer sites to Ashurst, my vote is for Long Meadow. Just avoid driving through via Lyndhurst, traffic during peak times is appalling.
