Hi Everybody,
My partner and I would like visit Portmeirion and stay in the area for a week. I was thinking of Portmadog. Can anyone recommend a good touring caravan park, with good facilities, that is in walking distance of pubs, shops and restaurants. I would be grateful for any suggestions or advice on the area as I've never visited this area before.

It's a fantastic area to visit with loads to do, I've never toured there though just stayed on a couple of haven sites nearby.
If you look at Morfa bychan there are a couple of sites near there that I bet will be listed on here with reviews, you can walk from there into Porthmadog or down to the beach which is lovely.
If you want to stay in Porthmadog itself, there's a no tents site (don't think it's listed on here) within walking distance of the town, called Ty Bricks.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
