Has anyone been here who can tell me what the camping pitches are like with no let up in the rain are the Touring pitches well drained or will it be a mud bath, have booked 4 days with a motorhome. Thanks in advance...John

Usually a mud bath going by my own experience a few years back. It's not a well draining field!!
Sorry if it's not a good reply - I'm thinking that's a reason others haven't replied yet.
When I went there a couple of years ago, the pitches were actually double width concrete pads, so drainage no problem. The biggest problem was pitching an awning, as the grass bits between the pads were very sloping. However, it may well have changed as Haven are updating their touring facilities on lots of their sites.
We went there a few years back and it was definately a mud bath and it hadnt even been raining that much, so unless someone says things have changed dramatically i wouldnt bother!
