Just got back from a week there ..weather was awful but i am pleased to say they have Two new shiney shower blocks!!!!! They are fantastic...just hope the amount of use they get they dont get wrecked too quick.. Very nice good too see them investing in camp site facilities!!!
------------- Courage is not the absence of fear, but the ability to carry on in spite of it.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
I adore Perran Sands... we went every year for 10 years as a child.
Last summer when we were staying nr Penzance, we spent a day in perranporth & newquay and popped onto the site to have a look, but it looks like the pitches were rather small and quite close together.

thats good, the shower blocks needed upgrading, which ones have they changed?we love it there as well, been last 6 years, goin again in september, lookin forward to it.people often slate haven sites, but if you can go out of the main holiday season they are great.Plus if you book early, they are superb value,we are paying £85 for 10 nights with electric, and passes. We will be going again next September as well.
We where there last year, pitched next to the play park. We had 2 pitches and both were very large. The facilites did need updating, so thats good. I did like Perran Sands just didnt like the long drive back home.

2013 Nothing as yet , trying to get new boyfriend to go camping soon. Selling Maritisa 700 , so we can put it towards a VW Camper.
the drive is the worst thing about going to Cornwall,we break it up,and only say we are on holiday after we leave the M5,and go under the Y bridge as you get on the A30.longest it has taken is 14 hours, that was a nightmare, best 8 1/2 hours.but we forget about all that as soon as we go to top of cliff at the centre, and look out at the sea.then down to the chip shop in centre of Perranporth for tea on first night
haha how spooky is that adrianaxle,we used to say the same thing about that bridge and cutting at the end of the m5....gateway to the far west!!!!...(now we live here)
