Its Panic stations, I have had my heart set on camping in north Devon in a holiday park. However when making enquires I found out there’s no serviced pitches left!!. I thought it would be ok, but the more I consider everything, we do really need a serviced pitch.
Can anyone recommend a holiday park possibly south of the UK. We live in London and have two boys 11 and 14.
Many thanks

Are you in a tent or a caravan? If a tent then try looking for a pitch with EHU as serviced pitches have a tap and drain and are usually for vans, folding campers.
If you are Tenting then a serviced pitch in my honest opinion would not really be needed, as long as you have Electric hook up then you can easier fill up with water etc during the day...
What unit are you going to be using??

I thought you packed the Toilet Rolls...!

Sorry for not making myself clearer, we are camping for the first time in a tent, and yes I agree mrwurzal all we need is electric hook up. I had hoped to go to Ruda Holiday Park in Croyde Bay, as a very young boy I recalled going there and have fond memories of the place. As it’s the first time my wife and children have ever been camping I want to find a similar type of park near the sea.
Why do you need an EHU? Must admit it's not something that I particularly bother about nor miss really when I'm camping. Just rough it...it much more fun! :)
When are you looking to camp as I cannot see that in the first post, sorry!
You need a grass pitch with EHU.
Cofton Country Holidays in South Devon is really nice, so is Birchwood Tourist Park in Wareham, Dorset.
Cofton is closer to a beach, whereas Birchwood is next door to a forest, and Sandbanks is not far from it.
Good luck with your search.

You could try a little further West and venture into North Cornwall around Bude. It may look further but if you go around via Exeter and the A30 it's actually a lot quicker to get here than to Ilfracombe/Croyde.
I called Stowford for pitches at the end of July / beginning of August and they had EHU pitches available earlier, not sure what dates your looking for. Haven't been but looks nice, we still haven't made our minds up, guess we had better get a shift on lol. x
