Can anyone recommend any sites in the Yorkshire & Derbyshire Area, for £20 or under for 2 adults, 2 children with EHU?
Just back from a stay at Birchwood Farm, Matlock, which we really enjoyed but would like to go somewhere else for a few days/nights in a few weeks.
I am using the Campsite search facility on here, but I'd like to narrow it down, as we are on a budget, so recommendations would be appreciated, for sites not on here aswell.
Many thanks
Karen

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
£20 not a lot in peak season but if you can travel to borders of Co Durham, try giving Leekworth site a ring, Middleton In Teesdale. £5 each adult without EHU, so check the prices. Nice peaceful site with River Tees flowing past camping area, and pleasant walk into village.
It's near to the beach, has a new shop and tearoom, a play area and is £16 per night with EHU. We're taking my nieces during the summer holidays, they can't wait.
Saxdale House Farm in Hunmanby - £12 a night or £14 with electric, even in high season. £2 a night cheaper if you're in the CCC. There are no entertainments on site and no play ground but the facilities are fantastic, there's a shop that sells just about everything and there's a nice beach a couple of miles away. It's a lovely, sociable site with two small camping fields in addition to the CCC bit. I'm only recommending it because I've already booked my 4 visits this year so don't have to worry about availability!
