Hi,

Can anyone recommend any sites that are either in, adjacent or very near to Woodlands, for tents with EHU, which are in the Yorkshire, Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire area please.

We recently stayed at Birchwood Farm near Matlock and the kids really enjoyed being able to play in the woods. We would like to try somewhere different this time.

you could try strawberry woods in cheshire check it out on here it's in the middle of a wood with loads for kids to do and they even allow campfires it great hope thats not to far for you Andy

There is also a forestry commission site - Spiers house which is near pickering, its surrounded by woods and have a playground. Haven't stayed here camping but used one of the lodges once.

Could be worth looking around the Dalby Forest area (Thornton le dale/Pickering). There are quite a few sites on the edge of the forest so that you can avoid paying the toll charges as you simply walk into the forest. Hope you get sorted

We stayed at Bank Top Farm, near Pickering last year. It really is a lovely site and there is woodland which you can access on site. Really reasonably priced too - we left a review on here http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=10368
