Hiya, just after some suggestions of decent sites upto a 4 hour drive out of Washington NE37. We have just come back from 4 days in the Lakes, so anywhere preferably flat would be wonderful, don't think my poor pins could take much more fell walking Was looking at Lincoln area, all I ask is top notch amenities, showers/toilets and doggies allowed.

Have you thought about the East Coast of Scotland?
North Berwick is a lovely town with a really good rail link into Edinburgh. We used to camp at Tantallon before we swapped onto a caravan, and now the CC site at Yellowcraigs. Lots to do and a really lovely area.
