well just back from this site, 2 days earlier than planned.

We will never return, it's more  aimed at the  younger children, nothing for older ones,

All under 16's has to be accomanied in the  pool by an adult!!!!!!!!!!!

Not  a site  if your children(teens) like to 'hang out' with out parents!!

My 2 ( 14 & 15) were too old for the  park.......... too young to go swimming olone!!!!!

The ground is horrible, as soon as it rains it turned into a mud bath!!

Sorry your girls didn't enjoy the site Kim. My 3 boys loved going to the park, my 9 year old is mad on football, so he thought the football area was brilliant. They also enjoyed going in the pool. I know what you mean about the ground when it rained, we were on the extra large family pitches where the drainage was pretty good, but the field in front of the main toilet block looked like Glastonbury on a bad day, I wouldn't have liked to pitch up on that. We also probably won't go there again, not so much the site but found it quite isolated, we prefer to stay nearer to st Ives/lands end area.

We have just returned and loved it! The facilities were spotless (considering the weather), the grounds staff friendly ( even making up wooden deck steps for front of tent) , kids loved the site with so much to keep them occupied. Our pitch was pretty wet but considering it had barely dried out before we slapped our non breathable groundsheet on top of it, I think it did pretty well. The whole country has had the wettest summer ever and short of hard standing pitches, I don't think there is anything any campsite could have done.
I didn't find the campsite so much isolated but did get a bit bored doing the drag into st Austell every time you wanted to go out. However we like to go out , sight see, be busy, and then return to a quiet site that is safe for the children to run around in, so I suppose it fulfilled our criteria lol. Already planning next years big jaunt!
