There are a few dotted around in North Devon/Somerset border. If you're looking for no frills, campfires but lovely location:
Leeford Farm Riverside camping, Lynton. Pub & cream teas in walking distance
Doone Valley Malmsmead, Oare near Lynton, has cafe/cream teas next door.
Westermill Farm, near Exford (just in Somerset!) Pub 2 miles.
Stoke Barton farm, Hartland near Bideford (almost on a cliff top!)
One of my favourite sites in that area but does not allow fires is:
Burrowhayes, near Porlock. Set in stunning valley, walks up onto Exmoor, horse riding on site and within a drive of the coast.
And one more! :
Alpine Grove, Chard - nice owners, fires permitted & a pool!
