Hi

Has anyone camped here this year and not reviewed it. I ask as we were there last year and are thinking about going again this year i have read the reviews and am a bit worried by the last one posted by Phil169. From memory a great site and very laid back it would be a shame if this has changed.

Thanks

John

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

This is a fabulous site and we can't fault it. We are tenters and did not stay in main season so can't comment on what it would be like at peak times. However outside the main 6 week school holidays it is fantastic. Very peaceful, lots to do in the are and well situated for somed really good walking.

The site is very well run, the daily mowing helps keep this a top notch site in our opinion. Rob is still using his tractor to bring caravans on/off site but better that than the still wet ground getting churned up.
This has afterall been an exceptionally wet summer!!!

The facilities are spotless and while they are closed from 11-1.00 for cleaning, the lady was very accommodating for those of us who needed to spend a penny.

The shop is well stocked with basics and the staff all friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Can't find anything to complain about at all.

We will be back!
