Pexton Moor Farm, this is at the entrance of Dalby Forest, so ideal for puppy walks and safe, quiet family walks. The moors are a short distance away as is the coast.
Dalby forest has always been on my list of places to go now and again, and is the nearest I get to the coast (really don't like the seaside and never have).
Pexton Moor could be a good base, and is peaceful, not in the least bit commercial.
Enjoy.
Studfold is a nice spot too, with Middlemoor and Grimwith reservoire in easy reach.
