Good recommendation from Ali.

If you fancy heading up coast you could look at:

Pooh Cottage, Budleigh Salterton.  15 minute or so walk into the coastal town/beach

The Shrubbery, Lyme Regis.   2-3 miles from Lyme itself (so car required) but site handy for exploring Lyme Regis, Seaton & Beer coastal areas.

I agree with Ali. Great site.  Park & Ride right outside taking you down into Dartmouth with loads to do (boat trips, steam train, coastal walking, etc., etc).
