Hi, when visiting Rowntree in the past I have always used an external tv aerial on a long mast, due to poor reception. I believe tv hook up has now been installed. Has this improved reception or will I still have to use my aerial on on long mast? Regards Tony

Last time we were there we used our satellite dish but even then had a few problems with trees being in the way. I suspect if the Club have gone to the trouble of installing a TV signal boosting system then it should work perfectly well otherwise there would be no point. The only problem I have experienced with CC TV hook-ups is that the connectors are often not very robust and can get broken but hopefully that won't be the case on a new install.

Yes would be interested in the app too.  Never had any problems with reception at Rowntree Park with our Status arial.

What apps that please?

It's called FreePoint UK and is avaialble for Androids.  Used inconjunction with a compass app it's invaluable.
