hi, has anyone been to Kelling Heath site with a dog? i thought it looked great and have just bookd my family in, paid the extra for the dog to come along.... then been told that the dog cant come in to any of the bars/ eating areas.

i'm concerned as we will be going early in the season and would like to a) eat! and b)warm up inside somewhere for an hour before bed.

seems stupid to book a site with this many facilities, then go off site every night to find a dog-friendly pub.... should i cancel?

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

We have been to Kelling Heath and yes you can't take your dog inside anywhere, but can sit outside. There is a nice pub in Weybourne where you can take the dog though to keep warm I believe to be the Ship Inn.

I'd read some of the reviews on here as well.

Caveat: I don't have a dog, and I haven't been to Kelling Heath.

But, it's on my short list, and I've read most of the reviews, and it seemed to be a common theme that if you have a dog, they put you in a certain field that's further away from most things (could be a good point!), but I seem to also recall people also saying that it wasn't as well drained.

Just might be worth checking that's all.

Fwiw, I think Kelling Heath looks great and I can't wait until we can go.
