I agree with everyone else about The Shielings. We spent a couple of nights there in a hired motor home in February. The campsite was actually closed for winter, but the warden let us pitch with EHU and use the water and chemical disposal, very nice gesture. The site has glorious views and we were able to sit in the cab of the motor home and watch otters in the bay every morning from our pitch. There is also a sea eagle that visits regularly. Craignure had everything we needed. I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
