it seems most of the decent sites are now booked in cornwall unless you want to pay silly money.

Nice sites at Polmanter and pentewan sand but £700 for polmanter and £640 for pentewan I think are a bit over the top especially when you are taking your own caravan and the liklihood is that we would use most of the facilities anyway, we have now booked to go to creampots in wales.

Always best to book a year in advance for the good sites in Cornwall.  Pentewan is always expensive as it's quite a commercial site right on the beach.

Enjoy Wales, but come back down to us in the South West next year
