Can anyone help with the pitches. We are booked here in July. I have had a look at the site plan and I'm not sure where's the best. We will have EHU. We'll be in the cabanon. We don't want to be near the club house. We would prefer a view of the lake. Any idea's?

We have only been once and as far as I was aware there was only one area with EHU. The pitches were not that big and we were camped on gravel so take a sturdy groundsheet. The non EHU pitches look the best. There are the fields up the top end and the bottom field across the road has the lakeside camping. There is a nice walk into Pooley Bridge by the lake. We went in June and the site was overflowing. It was also quite rowdy where we camped but I suppose you can get that anywhere. I'm sure there will be more folks along shortly with more advice on the pitches. Have a nice time

You are limited for choice were EHU is concerned if you have a tent.
Could always ring up the site up, if you could have a pitch further away from the club.
When I had EHU I was by the shopfield.

The EHU pitches are all on the main site, nearer to the shop and the club. We went last year and opted to do without EHU so that we could camp in the field next to the lake.
As someone else has mentioned, a lot of the EHU pitches seem to be on gravel, so take a thick groundsheet :-)
