hello all
we have just entered the wonderful world of caravans and having no experience with a caravan at all i was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for our first trip (me the wife 2 kids 5 and 9 and a small dog) we are in the north west so i dont want to travel to far the first time as it will probably take me all weekend to work out how to put the awning up amongst other things

hi spiderbait welcome to caravanning .jsut take it steady ,be prepared for a few squabbles putting awning up (they get less with time lol )and if in doubt ask someone one onsite for help .they wont come to you cos theyll think they are interfeering .
its a learning thing and it does get better the more you use your van .weve only been vanning 5 years at first could have thrown towel in but now its the best thing weve done and i wish wed have done it years ago .
once you are set up just sit back and enjoy kids will love it and so will the dog
