Looking for somewhere to go for week end of aug. thinking of dorset, so Weymouth or lyme Regis
Or over to Brixham or Paignton. Or cardigan bay area of wales.
Not been to either before.
Because I drive all year, I try to avoid much driving so looking for somewhere, right on or near beach but importantly near to a town where we can walk out to, instead of relying on site pub and entertainment, with a swimming pool on site as well
Would be static caravan hire.
Anyone any suggestions, I appreciate it's a broad query but are quite flexible as to where we go....

My neighbours recommended Freshwater Beach Holiday Park to me that has its own beach.

Looks good, however, it does not give single person discount, and the dog is extra on top. Therefore, it is too expensive for me.

Try Ulwell Cottage in Swanage Dorset, short walk to beach and town bus stop outside for Swanage, Poole and Bournemouth, indoor swimming poole, bar, cafe, takeaway and shop onsite very nice clean quiet site in country setting excellent sandy beach
Or Holburne Torbay for Devon again short walk to beach, bus to Brixham, Paington and Torquay nice selection of statics.
Weve stayed at both sites a number of times

Try Wood farm at Charmouth. Good site with own swiming pool. Possible to walk to Charmouth - Lyme Regis is a bit further. Have a look for fossils on the 'Jurassic coast'.

Visit Llandrindod Wells! Great scenery, walks, cycling, red kites. Ideal for exploring Mid Wales.

Cofton Country Holidays near Dawlish, South Devon, is a nice site.

I was planning to return in May this year, however, the cold weather over Easter meant I had to change my plans for the year.

It gives UKCS members discount too as much as 25%, however, it needs to be book and pay in advance.
