been trying to find a camp site within an hours drive of Middlesbrough (will travel further) for a 21st birthday weekend. looking for somewhere that we cant disturb anyone. whether that be a field in the middle of nowhere or a site in the middle of nowhere or a laid back site. looking around 24th may.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

Try the camp site search facility on here and see what comes up within a 30 mile radius, then you can see what each site is like and who they cater for?

Or google wild camping/group campsites in north east?

Good luck, hope you find somewhere!!

Not a brilliant site but Akebar Park near Leyburn may suit your needs. It was once a very good site and by rights should be brilliant, but bad management have really spoilt it. If you just need somewhere for a good booze up and not too bothered about the state of the facilities, this could suit your needs. Just don't expect too much. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
