Hi this is our first year camping and would like some advise on which site to visit in June for our first camp.my family 2adults and 2 children(8&11).we live in Somerset so would like Devon or Dorset somewhere for the kids but not to big as first time.your help would be appreciated.

Hi. For my first camping trip with the kids we stayed at West Fleet Farm near Weymouth. Another good site in Dorset is South Lychett Manor. Stayed there August bank hol last year and going back for the week at half term in may. Also have a look at Cofton Manor in dawlish Devon. Haven't stayed there but reviews are all good and loads to do. We were goin at Easter but due to cold weather and youngest poorly had to cancel

What sort of things do you like/need?

Are you looking for a quiet site with just a playground and open space for the kids to amuse themselves or something a bit more lively?
