Hi, I have stayed on Woodhill. There is a fantastic park for the children (one of the best I have seen) and absolutely great showers with private washrooms and a bath available.

We stayed at wood hill twice. Nice site and beach a short wake away. Cromer is a short walk away too and we went when Cromer carnival was on. That was really good. Good play area and facilities. I'd happily recommend it.

I personally wouldn't recommend Woodhill...I hated it....packed in like sardines is an understatement with a main busy road running by. If we didn't have a motor mover on our van, we would never have got in. Just personal opinion though.....Manor Farm was lovely. Kelling is great (woodhill's sister site) Packed in again but seems more spacious with walking and swimming onsite.

Searles is a good bet. Haven type holiday but there's a good choice of entertainment in Hunstanton area.
A couple of RSPB sites, boat trips to see the seals or coastline, a good drive on the coast road to Cromer, Wells and Sheringham. Norwich, and Kings Lynn not too far, passing Holkham or Sandringham. Far too much to see in a weekend, so plenty to keep the kids busy - and tire 'em out!

some days you are the tree.
Goodbye tension, hello Pension!

Clippesby Hall might suit you, lots of play areas, clean toilets, flat pitches, near the sea, near Cromer too, on teh broads.
The downside? Rather expensive, we paid around £45 a night for a BIG tent, EHU, 2 adults, 1 child and 2 dogs. You might find a cheaper way of staying there though.

2014:
August: Scarborough, High Yedmandale. Not tenting though, using one of their lovely holiday homes!
The best beaches in Norfolk are along the N Norfolk coast, Brancaster, Wells or Holkham - Pinewoods would be good for those, or Kelling Heath. West Runton beach is also good at low tide.
Otherwise Happisburgh, Sea Palling and Waxham Sands, there is a nice campsite at Waxham Sands, which is closer to the Broads and attractions like Bewilderwood.

We got back from Manor Farm last week, and thought it was a great site. Although it is quiet and rural, it is an easy 15 minute stroll to Morrisons and Co-op supermarkets or into the town at Cromer. The beach is just as quick to get to, as is the station if you want to explore further afield. We walked into Sheringham with our dog (about 5 miles), and then caught the train back to Cromer and had the kettle on in our MH 15 minutes later. The perfect site for us, good showers and facilities but not regimentally laid out, and plenty of space.
You have probably booked by now but I would also recommend Kelling Heath. Going next week for the 4th year running. So much to do in the area, Nearby Sherringham has nice beaches, Steam trains stop at the site, Wells is great for "crabbing", Military Museum 2 miles away. Beats Clippesby in my opinion.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
