hi, need help and suggestions on caravan parks in dunfries area. never been to Scotland so hoping to spend 12 nights spread between 2 sites, with course fishing. going end of this month.

We have used Hoddom castle a few times over the last couple of years and found it to be really great has lovely grounds, a nice clubhouse and a good mixture of tourers and seasonal vans who's owners are very friendly. There is fishing available next to the site but not sure if it is course or fly but if you check their web site there is a link for the fishing. We like pitches 81 to 83 as these are quite big and with the van pointing the right way to get the evening sun.
Hi. We are just back from a gem of a site called Solway View. Have a look at the good reviews. Another site we have stayed on in that area that i would recommend is Loch Ken.
