Evening all, after a few years myself and my better half are looking into starting up camping again. We held on to everything luckily so all we need now is to introduce our 18 month old daughter to a night under canvas.
We are looking for somewhere child friendly ie play area, and relatively local to us Aston on Trent DE72.
The first trip will only be for one or maybe two nights so we don't want to be traveling for anymore than an hour.
I have looked on the site search but I think asking for any reccomendations would be good.
So any ideas please ?

There's one around the corner, just before you reach the entrance for Elvaston Park,(coming from Shardlow road end).
Unfortunately, I can't recommend, as I've not been!!
Personally, I would opt for using up the full hour to travel, and get yourself into the Peak District.
Plenty of options there.
Give us some personal likes/dislikes type thing, and we may be able to narrow it down for you.
Thanks for the replies, on further inspection it looks like the tent we have had stored for a while is erm..... Fupped :(
