My son will be 8 this weekend,we are going camping sat-sun possible fri-sun,he is taking a friend and has a 6 year old sister, so we are looking for a site the kids will enjoy(and then perhaps we can chill with a drink in the evening!). We live in Sheffield so thought a derbyshire site would be easy. Been to Callow Top a few times would like somewhere different. All suggestions welcome.

Coopers at Edale. Loads of space to run around nice walk up Kinder Scout and a pub at hand. Derwent water nearby for a little trip out. Ideal for kids.

hi there try the golden valley campsite in ripley excellent site loads for kids great place , café , bar we go regular butterley railway about 10 min walk away - shaun
