Hi Everyone,
We have just found out that the cottage we were renting in Betys-y-coed is unavailable because of damage and we were due to arrive on Friday. We have a caravan and would be happy in that but our friends would not, so i wondered if anyone knew of a site perhaps with B & B or a log cabin, chalet to rent preferably in north wales but prepared to travel a bit further, we prefer to be near a small town village with pubs and restaurants, any help would be most appreciated. Thank you, j x

Plenty of B & B's with vacancies here in Llanidloes, and a very nice CV site just out of town at Dol Llys Farm.

There are the Artro Lodges in Llanbedr, these are 2 storey lodges and have everything from flat screen tv's to hot tubs.

We are going to Plas Gwyn Caravan Park next Saturday. They have B&B, and Statics. It's about halfway between Llanberis and Caernarfon. Might be worth a ring, they have a listing on this site.

Thanks for your replies, we are here now, in the original cottage with no cooker but brought the Cadac and are having bbq,s and so far so good, the cottage is beautiful although secretly we prefer to be in our caravan, just doing it this way for our Aussie mates, J x
