I made a booking last year to stay at the Hadrian's Wall Campsite and paid in full in advance. Due to illness I had to cancel but they very kindly offered to let me use the money paid against the cost of any future booking.

I've just made a booking for later this year (which will actually be over twelve months after the original booking) and had my original payment recycled with no problems whatsoever :-)

I do like being treated like a valued customer - especially when I haven't even been there yet!

I was told that this is now their policy so I just hope others take note and follow suit.

That's my favourite campsite. I'm not surprised that that's their policy...they're fab.
