Nice beach between Aberdovey and Tywyn and next to Talyllyn railway. Many people return year on year!
Might be pushing your specified area but we love Caerfai farm in St. David's. Lovely quiet, basic site - only 10 mins walk into the "city" (really a very small but lovely town!). It's situated right on the cliff tops with sea views and a smallish beach just a short walk down the cliff path. A couple of nice spacious family bathrooms to make it easier with little one. No playground on site but sure there will be one in the town and loads to do; lovely scenery, walks on coast path, St David's cathedral and Bishops Palace are well worth a visit and very pictueresque. Beaches galore, Whitesands bay and walk to St. David's head from there is glorious. Great ice cream shop in St. Davids and the on site shop sells their own cheese - yum!

We went here a few years back with out little ones. Nice little site. Tywyn is a nice little town with a big playground along the front opposite the beach if I remember rightly. I also remember taking the kids swimming at the leisure Centre in Tywyn too.
------------- Smoke me a kipper ............ I'll be back for breakfast!!!!!
You could have a look at Rynys Farm near Betws-y-coed, it's only a short drive to the coast. Even closer to Snowdon. Great views from the site too, the toilet block is a bit basic but very clean.
There's also Nantcol Waterfalls, another great site with excellent facilities and they allow campfires.
If you're off to Wales and like a gentle walk, take the hike up to Aber Falls, it's stunning.
