Hi just wondering if any one can advise a decent site for me, my hubby and dog and a 12 and 13 year old girl who are really not wanting to come camping again. Leaving them behind not an option but realise that we need some things to do on the site. Dont really want to camp on a haven site or similar if there are other places out there. I dont have a lot of money so cost is an issue. Really need a break so if any one has any ideas thank you in advance. I live in Lancashire and it would be for 4 nights so not too far, dont mind driving 3 hours.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Tattershall lakes is quite good for keeping teenagers busy. It has a pool and a lot of activities laid on like xbox challenges and archery. There is an outdoor cinema , archery and jetskiing too which my 13year old daughter enjoyed. There is also a lovely park a short drive away called Jubiliee gardens that has an outdoor lido if you are lucky enough to catch the sun .They also have a laptop in reception so they can get their Facebook fix if things get too much!
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
