I am looking for a campsite in the north that is somewhere in the hills with great views. I have tried searching on here but not come across the kind of thing I am looking for plus there are so many to go through.
Just wondered if anyone has some recommendations ?

Any sites in The Dales, Hawes, leyburn, Pateley Brige, also Osmotherley, Rosedae Abbey, its all beautiful up here, come once and you wont want to go home again. J x

Yep Hadrian's Wall site is nice. Bainbridge Ings, Hawes is nice too
But if you want hills and views it has to be the Lake District. Langdale NT site is awesome - right in the Langdale valley surrounded by nothing but big views and the spectacular Langdale fells. Or the site at Wast Water (also NT I think).
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
